Coursework completed in CEP 894D for the Masters of Arts in Educational Technology.
Cep 894D was a research methods course designed to give me insight and hands on training in conducting research in the classroom. I choose to conduct a study of a small group of students in the 6th grade and see if I could change their motivation to write.
I choose the Web 2.0 tool of Podcasting as my medium for motivation. My hope was that students would be excited by the idea of producing a Podcast for syndication and that the writing of the cast script would improve their skills in drafting, revising and publishing their work.
